How it Works?

Please follow these steps to connect your store with this tool:

STEP 1: Enter shopify subdomain in Domain field. e.g: if you have yourbrand.myshopify.com then enter only yourbrand in domain field.

STEP 2: Enter your app Admin API access token in Access Token field

Please Note: If you don't have Admin Access Token then you can create a new app by following below steps to get Admin Access Token

STEP 1: Create a new app for temprory use.

  1. Goto Shopify Admin of Your Store
  2. Click on Settings > Apps and sales channels
  3. Click on Develop Apps
  4. Click on Allow Custom App Development (if prompted)
  5. Click on Create an app button
  6. Enter App Name (as per your need e.g: Metafield Update)
  7. Click on Create App button

STEP 2: Set Required Permission for Your App

  1. Goto App Configuration
  2. Click on Configure button under Admin API integration Section
  3. Select Admin Scopes write_products and write_customers
  4. Select Event version 2024-04 under Webhook subscriptions Section
  5. Click on Save button

STEP 3: Click on Install App Button.

STEP 4: Get Admin Access Token

  1. After Installing App, You'll redirect to API credentials Tab/Section
  2. Click on Reveal token once under Admin API access token

STEP 5: Enter Access Token

STEP 1: Prepare CSV File by downloading Sample CSV File

STEP 2: Goto Product Tab and Choose CSV file.

STEP 3: Click on Update Metafields.

Note: Keep window open during the process, if you close the window the process will stopped autoamtically.

STEP 3: Click on Update Metafields.

STEP 3: Click on Update Metafields.

Following headers should be present in CSV file and can be used for updating products, variants and customers.

Where:

id it can be product, variant or customer id
namespace relate to namespace of metafield
key relate to key of metafield
value relate to value which you want to replace.

Yes, Our Tool is 100% safe and We doesn't keep records of any type of credentials you used in our tool.

App connection is cookie based and We store cookie maximum 2-3 hours. It means your app will automatically disconnect after 2-3 hours of inactivity.

No, We don't store any kind of logs.

Currently, We haven't bounded this tool with limitations. However, The tool handle 80% work on client side (into your device) so limitations depends on speeds and storage of your device.

To smooth the process we recommend upload maximum 1,000 records in a CSV file.

Our tool is 100% secure, trustworthy and safe. If you feel unsecure then we recommend to create a temporary app and delete/uninstall app from your store after using this tool.

0-1 seconds per record, if you have 60 records in CSV then it will take around 1 minute to update.

To speed up the process, divide your csv files into multiple parts and open multiple instances/windows and start the updating process.
